Just a quick post to say I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season full of family or the family you choose, love and joy from our house to yours. We just had our big holiday do on boxing day and every year I find myself a little emotional after the fact. Not one of the dozen or so is just like anyone else and yet we all love each other so much. Personally it means the world to me that even though I was thrust into so many of their lives years ago they all seem to accept my just as I am. I consider that to be one of my life’s great privileges and a tremendous gift year after year. No matter what was under the tree or if the turkey was dry I hope you all had at least a little of those feelings in your house this season. Because that really is the reason for the season around here at least.
