In training and in life we’re presented with obstacles. Sometimes there’s a way around it other times there’s no choice to push straight through but often those obstacles turn out to be opportunities when looking back on them. Maybe it forced you to make a positive change (like getting 7 stitches) or forced you to make some changes. Right now I’m looking 10 days down the half marathon schedule at a 24 km run that’s looking pretty big right now and this is one of those push right through times. Who knows maybe this will be the one that somehow makes me think a marathon is a good idea!
